Has it only been a 4 day week?!
We have loved the sunshine this week and we have really enjoyed being able to get out onto our field too. It has made such a difference to be able to enjoy warm weather and spread out on the field - we are so lucky with all the space that we have to play.
Year 6
This week we are celebrating Year 6! Next week, they will be taking their End of Key Stage 2 tests which will celebrate everything they have learnt in the last four years at Coppice. We are really proud of all of our pupils and everything that they have already achieved. Next week is a chance for them to show off what they know! We will be hosting a breakfast club for our Year 6 pupils from 8:15am, so they can have a calm and settled start to the school day. I know that you will join me in wishing all of Year 6 the very best of luck, we are right behind you and you have already made us so proud.
Hats and Sun Cream
I have a feeling they might not be needed next week, but as you all have, please send your child in with a hat and water bottle as the weather gets warmer. We encourage you to apply long-lasting sun cream on your child in the morning. Children may bring a named bottle of sun cream into school which they will be able to apply themselves, as necessary. Please teach your child how much to squirt out and how to rub it in!

This is an exhibition taking place at the Yorkshire Event Centre on Friday 24th, Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th May.
Adults can test drive the latest EVs, e-bikes and scooters, listen to an expert panel discussion, make a free appointment with a home energy expert and meet lots of exhibitors offering a range of lifestyle products.
Children will be entertained with our futuristic Lego cities sessions, circus skills workshops and taking part in arts & crafts - all activities are free to join.
Your family ticket can be printed or shown electronically.
Online Safety
This week we had an online safety workshop for parents of Year 5 and 6 pupils.
We would like to thank Martin Powell, our Police Community Officer, for delivering this. We look forward to having more parent workshops in the future and we are using the feedback you gave us in our March Parent Survey, to deliver these.
