Extra Curricular and Clubs
Clubs are a popular feature of Coppice Valley life.
Throughout the year we offer a variety of clubs both after school or during lunchtimes to promote social and cultural development. Clubs usually run for a 6-8 week block. Some clubs, run by school staff charge a very small fee if there are costs for materials whilst others are free. Clubs run by professionals from the local community usually incur a cost. Examples of the clubs we may offer are:
- gardening (working with the local allotment society to grow fruit and vegetables at school)
- ICT (providing opportunities for use of ICT, plus skill development and e-Safety)
- karate
- basketball
- total energy multi-sports
- gymnastics
- zumba/street dance
- recorders
- homework help
- running club
- hockey
