Beth Hope
Parent Governor
When relocating from Peterborough last year, Coppice Valley stood out above the other local schools for a number of reasons – the outdoor space and the emphasis put on children’s wellbeing being just two. It was for those reasons that I chose to send my 3 children to Coppice, now in Year 6 and Year 2, and I am excited to now be part of the school journey as a governor.
Before relocating, I was a primary school Deputy Headteacher, and have many years of not only teaching, but also of governance of different schools. In addition to this, I am a director of an independent special school; a family run school that specialises in supporting and educating children and young people who have special educational needs related to their social interaction and communication difficulties, typically found in children who have a diagnosis of an Autism Spectrum Disorder.
