Monday 15th Family Festival

8 July 2019 (by schoollogin)

Important details about the event - please read!

Join your child for a relaxed afternoon of family games, food and fun on our beautiful field. If you can't come yourselves, perhaps a grandparent, aunt or uncle can come to be with your child instead? (please tell us in advance for security reasons and also note that the event is not open to the general public, just Coppice families).

Bring a blanket, chairs and picnic (no nuts or alcohol). School will provide strawberries & cream, scones and hot drinks from the Before and After School Club. Adults should use the toilets in the Before & After School Club. Children should use the toilets in Ash & Beech, as they do at lunchtime.

Inside, we will be hosting a fantastic exhibition of all the children's art. To safely access the hall, please walk through Beech classroom and inside the school (it will be sign-posted).

Our new caterers will be here too, giving out samples from the new menu for September for you and your child to try.

On arrival at 1.30pm, pick up your child from the patio outside their classroom and proceed to the field. Please do not leave the event early with your child for safeguarding reasons. At the end of the event, a whistle will be blown. All pupils should line up on the playground without their parents/family. Staff will take the children inside. Parents/carers should then walk to the patios to pick up their children, in the usual end of the day routine. Please bear with us and support us in these safety routines - it is so we can be sure every child is safe.

Please note, the green side gates will only be open from 1.25pm - 1.45pm, so please aim to arrive promptly for a 1.30pm start. This is to ensure we keep the event secured from the general public.
