After graduating I worked in the charity sector for a couple of years before starting my teacher training. I completed my teacher training with Red Kite including my PGCE with the University of Leeds.

I started volunteering at school when my children were at Coppice Valley over 30 years ago.   I have now been an Advanced Teaching Assistant for 22 years.  I really enjoy working with the children and feel that I can have a positive impact on a pupil's education.  I have learnt while in the job and over the years, I have been on many courses to help me gain my experience in working with the children to help them flourish and grow. Out of school I enjoy my family life, I now have three grandchildren which I adore.
