Headteacher's Farewell Update

Dear Parents and Carers,
I write this final Friday email with a heavy heart as I bid farewell to Coppice Valley and the wonderful community that has been an integral part of my life for 25 years. I want to express my deepest gratitude to each and every one of you for entrusting me with the privilege of guiding and nurturing your children. It has been an honour and joy to work alongside dedicated parents and supportive families. Your unwavering commitment to your children's education has undoubtedly played a significant role in making Coppice Valley the exceptional school it is today.
Over the years, I have witnessed our school community grow stronger and more united. Together, we have faced challenges, such as the pandemic, and celebrated our many achievements and awards. The passion and dedication of the staff have been vital in building such a wonderful learning environment, and I am immensely proud of the progress we have made as a school. The staff’s hard work, dedication, and professionalism have been the backbone of our success, and I am truly grateful for their unwavering support.
The children, of course, will always hold a special place in my heart. Their curiosity, resilience, and boundless potential have been a source of inspiration. Watching them grow and flourish academically, socially, and emotionally has been the most rewarding aspect of my role as Headteacher.
As I move on to new opportunities and challenges, I leave Coppice Valley in the capable hands of Miss McNamara. I have every confidence that, under her leadership, the school will continue to thrive and maintain its commitment to excellence.
I will carry the memories and lessons learned at Coppice Valley with me throughout my life. The friendships and connections made here will forever hold a special place in my heart.
Thank you again for allowing me to be a part of your lives and for making my tenure as Headteacher an unforgettable experience. I wish you all continued success and happiness in the years to come.
