Homework
Regular reading at home makes a big difference to a child's learning.
Just 15 minutes reading every day is the best way to help your child succeed. We ask all parents & carers to hear their child read and read to them every day. Discuss the meaning of new words and ask questions about the book.
In Year 1, pupils have number facts to learn by heart. Please help your child learn these at home. From Year 2 to Year 6 pupils should practice their multiplication tables using Times Tables Rock Stars. Log-in are available from your child's class teacher.
We learn our spellings in school, but if you wish to practice at home, SpellingFrame, is a great way to learn the rules and patterns for your child's year group.
