Miss McNamara's Message
We’ve wrapped up another brilliant and busy week at Coppice Valley. Here’s what’s been happening:
🐾 Scrumpy’s Second Visit
We were delighted to have Scrumpy the dog back with us for his second visit today. The pupils (and staff) absolutely love seeing him. He loves the stories being read to him!
🌿 Governors' Meeting – Forest School Focus
This week, we held a productive Governors' Meeting where Mrs Hardy shared exciting updates about all things Forest School. It was fantastic to highlight how this valuable provision is enhancing outdoor learning and well-being for our pupils. Needless to say, our Governors were impressed with the work.
📚 White Rose Maths Training
All class-based staff took part in a comprehensive White Rose Maths training session focused on adaptive teaching strategies. We explored effective techniques, such as hedging and efficient methods, to ensure that every pupil can access and thrive in their maths learning. This is part of our investment in high-quality CPD, which benefits all our pupils.
👩🏫 Welcome to Corrie Leach – New Governor
Many of you will remember Corrie Leach, our former EYFS lead. We’re thrilled to announce that Corrie has joined our Governing Board. Her wealth of experience and passion for education will undoubtedly be a great asset to our school community.
Wishing everyone a restful weekend.
Request to Administer Medication Form - Now Online!
We’re excited to introduce a more convenient way for parents to request permission for their child to take medication at school! Our new online form allows you to complete the request from the comfort of your home, at a time that works best for you.
Once the form is submitted, you can simply drop off the medication at the school office—no more filling out paper forms or worrying about delays in your busy day.
This new process streamlines everything, so you can focus on what matters most. We hope this makes your experience easier and more efficient!
