Hannah McNamaraMessage from Miss McNamara

It's Christmas..! It's been a long but wonderful first term for me at Coppice Valley.

I feel incredibly lucky and proud to call myself the Headteacher of our school. Thank you for taking the time our of your day or time off work to attend our events this half term - it has been great getting know more of you. The children love having their adults in school and we look forward to continuing this next year.

This morning's Values Assembly was the first where we gave certificates to children for our three values of 'brave, kind and curious'. The comments from the staff were so lovely to hear, the children were glowing by the end of the assembly and we had some very proud parents in the hall too. Well done to all of our award winners.

COPPICE VALLEY GOODBYE

Of course, we also said 'goodbye' to Mr Cawte in the assembly - children shared their memories and favourite things about him. We also had a guest-appearance from Mrs Meadus, who worked closely with Mr Cawte during his time here.

We wish Mr Cawte the very best in his new school and thank him once again for everything he has done for the children of Coppice, past and present, and the wider school community. We are sure that he won't be a stranger.

Mr Cawte

And finally...we wish you all the very best Christmas break. Please stay safe and we are looking forward to seeing you again on Tuesday 9th January.
