What another great week it has been at Coppice Valley, with Christmas now in full swing across school. Our craft afternoons have been taking place and it has been wonderful to see so many parents joining us in the hall, sharing in the festive creativity and joy. Thank you for taking the time to come in.
A special thank you must go to our brilliant site manager, Mr Falconar, for all his hard work getting the decorations up in time for our light switch-on. The school looks magical! We are now serving hot chocolate by the gallon as the festive excitement continues to build, and as always, the children are loving it!
A huge thank you as well to parents and friends of Coppice for sending in books from our Amazon Wishlist. These donations are greatly appreciated. The children are always excited to see new books arriving on our shelves – it really does make a difference.
Next week promises to be just as special, with our Nativity performances, more Christmas craft afternoons, and of course Christmas Dinner Day.
Wishing you all a festive weekend and we would love to see pictures of your trees on our social media post of teacher trees!

Get festive and sustainable this season! Bring along any old Christmas jumpers you no longer need and swap them for something new-to-you.
The Forest School Rangers have been working incredibly hard to design and create 24 beautiful advent fairy doors ✨, which will be hidden around the nature area at Forest School. As a special end-of-term treat, each class is invited to come and find them all on the last day of term - Friday 19 December! 🧚♀️🚪
Please ensure your child as their coat and wellies in school this day.

Miss Wright has sent all families information regarding Christmas events happening in and around the Harrogate area.
Flu season is here, and getting your child vaccinated is one of the best ways to keep them healthy and in school. A flu jab not only helps protect your child from illness, but also means less time off school for them and less time off work for parents and carers. Flu vaccination also helps protect vulnerable friends and family by reducing the spread of the virus.
Bookings are now open! If you have received a FEAST voucher, please make sure to use it to book your activities.
If you need any support with booking, please contact Miss Wright at school.
✨ Nativity Season is Here! ✨
Ash Class and Beech Class have been working incredibly hard practising and performing their nativity, “The Inn-spectors” 👮♂️⭐️ They’ve shown amazing enthusiasm, teamwork, and festive spirit as they brought the story to life. We’re so proud of all their hard work and can’t wait for everyone to enjoy their performance! 🎄💫

Cloth wrapping - often called furoshiki - is a fantastic eco-friendly alternative to paper. Fabric can be reused year after year.
