Miss McNamara's Message
This week has been filled with reflection, and connection as we celebrated Children’s Mental Health Week. This year’s theme was all about “Know Yourself, Grow Yourself” - encouraging children to understand their emotions, recognise their strengths, and discover ways to grow while building positive relationships. Look our for our sea of hearts, which will represent the work children have done in our community allotment.
🍈 RHS Assembly: We were introduced to the African sausage fruit, sparking conversation about resilience, growth, and the mental health benefits of gardening. Thank you to Janet at the RHS for leading this.
🌟 Mental Health Ambassadors Assembly: Our brilliant ambassadors led a thoughtful assembly, sharing tips and practical strategies for maintaining good mental health, at school and at home.
👔 Special Visitor: This week, we welcomed our new Chief of Operations, Jonathan Timmis, who was thoroughly impressed by the amazing work happening here. He particularly loved our thriving outdoor learning offer.
❤️ Valentine's Disco: A massive THANK YOU to the parents and staff who have gone above and beyond to organise this, including blowing up heart balloons at 6:30 in the morning!
Miss Winterburn
We are absolutely thrilled to share some wonderful news - Miss Winterburn is having a baby! This is such an exciting time, and we are all delighted for her as she prepares to start this exciting new chapter.
We understand the importance of maintaining consistency and high-quality teaching for our pupils. Therefore, we will shortly be advertising for this role and will keep parents and carers informed as we make plans for her temporary cover.
In the meantime, please join us in congratulating Miss Winterburn on this lovely news! 🎉👶
Mrs Witton
We want to inform you that Mrs Witton, one of our dedicated Teaching Assistants, will be taking some time off for an operation. In preparation for the surgery and to ensure she has the rest she needs, she will be spending time at home. However, she will still be visiting us in school occasionally, and we look forward to seeing her when she can pop in.
We look forward to welcoming her back in the summer term, after a full recovery. Please join us in wishing Mrs Witton all the best for her operation and a smooth recovery.
Spring 2 After School Activity Clubs
