As we reach the end of another busy week, I wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who joined us for Coppice Fest. It was lovely to see so many families spending time together, enjoying the activities and making the most of the afternoon. Although we had to make a number of changes because of the heat, It was still a relaxed and fun event that brought our school community together. Thank you to our staff, PTFA and volunteers who helped make the afternoon such a success.
The warm weather looks set to continue into next week, so please can I remind everyone that every child needs to come to school with a named water bottle, a named hat and sun cream applied before they arrive. We have had a number of children each day without water bottles, which makes things much more challenging in school. We do, of course, provide cups where needed, but this creates additional work for staff and increases the likelihood of cups being mixed up and viruses spreading. Having their own water bottle really does make a big difference.
Children are also welcome to continue wearing their school PE kit next week instead of their usual uniform, as this is often much cooler and more comfortable in the current temperatures.
Thank you, as always, for your continued support. We are looking forward to another exciting week as we head towards the end of the school year.
We are delighted to invite you to visit the Coppice Art Gallery, an exhibition showcasing the wonderful artwork created by our pupils throughout the school year.
The exhibition will be open in the school hall on:
This is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate our children's creativity and enjoy the impressive range of artwork produced across the school.
If your child attends BAS and you would like to visit the exhibition, please speak to a member of the BAS team, who will be happy to bring your child to join you.
We look forward to welcoming you and celebrating another successful year of art at Coppice
