It has been another great week at Coppice Valley! Our EYFS and KS1 pupils have truly shone in their nativity performances. The children were so confident – it was a pleasure to see our youngest pupils take to the stage with such enthusiasm. A huge thank you to all the families who came along to support them; your encouragement means so much to the children and staff alike.
As many of you will know, this term has brought its fair share of illness, and both pupils and staff have been affected. I want to express my thanks to our brilliant team for pulling together to ensure that the nativities still went ahead! A special mention must go to our site manager, Mr Falconar, who stepped in to run the music for one of the productions – definitely not in the job description, but very much appreciated.
We are now heading into the final week of term. Please remember that we will be finishing at the normal time on the last day. We do this deliberately to support our working parents in the busy lead-up to Christmas.
Thank you all for your continued support,
Booking After-School Activity Clubs. We will be using Enrolmy for all after-school activity club bookings.
The Forest School Rangers have been working incredibly hard to design and create 24 beautiful advent fairy doors ✨, which will be hidden around the nature area at Forest School. As a special end-of-term treat, each class is invited to come and find them all on the last day of term - Friday 19 December! 🧚♀️🚪
Please ensure your child as their coat and wellies in school this day.

The National Databank exists to provide SIM cards for people who can’t access the Internet and works like a food bank but for mobile data. Over the festive period, the National Databank is ramping up access by hosting databanks in every O2 store. This means people experiencing poverty can access free data. People can receive 25GB of free O2 data per month for 12 months, helping them stay connected to essential services and loved ones. All someone has to do is visit an O2 store to pickup a SIM and they can even keep their original number.

Each child in school completes their own Wellbeing Toolkit, designed to help them understand what supports their mental health and wellbeing.
Children explore the activities that help them feel good - time outdoors, friendships, sports and hobbies. They identify trusted adults who support them and they learn simple mindfulness and breathing techniques.
The Toolkit grows with your child and can be used at home to support everyday wellbeing conversations. Copies are available in our Community Hub.
