Miss McNamara's Message
What a magical week we’ve had at Coppice Valley!
Our school has been alive with festive spirit as EYFS and KS1 brought the Christmas story to life with their wonderful performances. EYFS delighted us with A Wriggly Nativity, with beautiful singing. Meanwhile, KS1 shone in Whoops-a-Daisy Angel, impressing everyone with their clear speaking, confident delivery of lines, and impressive teamwork. A particular highlight was the addition of Makaton signs to the KS1 songs. Watching the children incorporate this into their performances added even more meaning to their hard work. Both groups did an incredible job remembering exactly when to come on and off the stage, ensuring every moment ran smoothly.
Today’s Christmas dinner was also a roaring success! The children enjoyed lovely dinner while singing along to Christmas songs, making for a very festive atmosphere. We did notice that some children struggled to use a knife and fork properly. If this is something your child finds tricky, please do practise at home to help them develop this important skill.
Adding to the magic this week, we welcomed Sam Porter from Mural Minded into school to paint mural. It has been incredible to see this artwork come to life next to our Community Hub. We hope you have loved watching the process, especially those who managed to get a spontaneous hot chocolate treat.
Thank you for your ongoing support and we hope to see you at our last Christmas celebration - the KS2 Church carol concert at 2pm on Monday.

Autumn Clubs are now finished
Just a gentle reminder that clubs for this half term are now finished. There are no clubs running next week. BAS will run as normal except for the last day of term when it will close at 5pm.
Christmas Dinner Photos!
We had a fantastic time at lunchtime! We had Christmas hats, a little Christmas notebook gift and a very tasty Christmas Dinner! We even had a sing-a-long in the hall to 12 days of Christmas and Slade!
