What a year it has been! As we reach the final day of term, I want to say a huge thank you to our children, families and staff for everything you have brought to Coppice Valley this year. There has been so much to celebrate, and I am incredibly proud of our school community.
A particularly big message must go to our wonderful Year 6 pupils. You have each made your mark on Coppice Valley, and we are so proud of the young people you have become. As you move on to secondary school, remember to be brave when things feel new, be kind to yourselves and others, and stay curious about everything still to come. We will miss you, but we know you are ready for your next adventure. Please come back and tell us how you are getting on!
To everyone returning in September, enjoy a well-earned summer break. Rest, have fun, make memories and hopefully enjoy plenty of sunshine. We cannot wait to welcome you back for another exciting year - including the opening of Little Ferns Pre School!
I want to wish all the families and school staff a lovely summer holiday which starts on friday afternoon , and i may see you all in September when school re-opens .
To all the year six pupils good luck in your new adventures in secondary /high school and beyond.

This guide will help you set up parental controls and adjust privacy settings to provide your child with a safer online environment. Parental controls can help to protect your child from seeing something that they shouldn’t — although it is important to emphasise that no system is effective all of the time, so it is important to engage with your child and talk to them about their online life regularly.
Adult Learning North Yorkshire offers a range of flexible courses, including online, classroom-based and Distance Learning options, for adults who would like to gain qualifications, learn new skills, improve their wellbeing or take steps towards employment.
Course guides are also available from local libraries.
From football and Forest School adventures to creative arts, signing, singing and space exploration, our Autumn 1 clubs offer children the chance to discover new interests, build confidence and have fun with friends.
We can't wait to see our pupils enjoying another exciting term of extracurricular opportunities!

Switch off the school routine and recharge for summer! Have a fantastic holiday. ☀️
However you spend the holidays, we hope they're filled with sunshine, laughter, adventure and happy memories.
See you in September! 💚🌈

Our Girls’ Summer Football & Activity Camp is designed exclusively for girls aged 9 -14, combining dedicated football development in the mornings with a choice of fun, creative and enriching afternoon activities. The camp provides a supportive, confidence‑building environment where girls can develop their skills, try new things, and enjoy an exciting mix of sport and creativity.
Each morning focuses on football development, with sessions designed to support players of all experience levels. Participants will work on ball skills, teamwork and game understanding, all delivered in a positive and encouraging setting by our qualified coaching team.
In the afternoon, girls will choose from a range of engaging activity pathways, including multi‑sports, cooking/science, or arts & crafts, allowing them to explore their interests and enjoy a varied camp experience. All activities are delivered in a safe, inclusive environment where every participant is supported to take part, have fun and build confidence.
We have access to a range of indoor and outdoor spaces, including the school hall, playground, and grass areas. Activity locations will be selected each day based on the weather and the needs of the group.
