Friday update from CVPS
Posted 13th October 2023
Message from Miss McNamara
This week has been another busy and exciting week at Coppice Valley; Oak class have filled their classroom with pumpkins (and cleared Asda of theirs), and we have seen fantastic maths lessons across the school where children have been highly engaged and using mathematical equipment to support their learning.
This week, the children also had their school photographs, and I had the pleasure of watching some of the sibling photos being taken. Some of the eldest siblings gave their younger brother or sister a piggyback, turning it into an impromptu arm workout session, with lots of laughing. See more details of how to access the pictures below.
School Photographs
School House photography will soon be providing a passcode to access your child's school photos. These will appear in a gallery, alongside everyone else in their class.
If you wish to have a 'private gallery', so your child's photos are restricted from whole class viewing, please email the office before Friday 20th October, to let them know. office@cvps.rklt.co.uk
PTFA Halloween Fancy Dress Day
On Friday 27th October we will be having a Halloween fancy dress day, as a PTFA non-uniform fundraiser. Children can dress up in Halloween costumes for a £1 donation to the PTFA.
Unlocking Autism: Awareness Course for Parents
On Thursday, we sent an email about course for parents, being run by NYCC. Unlocking Autism is a free course for parents and carers of children and young people with communication and interaction needs. You must live in North Yorkshire or your child attend a North Yorkshire school or setting to be eligible. Children do not need to have a diagnosis of autism in order for parents to attend. Please see the email for further details.
