Family Breakfast
Thank you to all who attended our Family Breakfast this week. It was another lovely event made all the more special with the launch of Mr Cawte’s new stand-up career! Who knew?! Thanks again to Mrs Batty who certainly knows how to put on a good breakfast spread. All the food and drink has been sponsored this year as part of our Year of Giving Back
Movie Night
Another of our Year of Giving Back events for our families! Children can stay on after school up to 6pm for movies and pizza on Wednesday 29th March. Put the dates in your diary now and expect more details on how to book in to the event, in the weeks to come. This is another free event sponsored by local company, Ignition Group, and generously run by our staff. After school club will be closed that day so all children can come to the movie night (After School Club users will not be charged for that night’s session).

Pupil Voice Conference
Next week, on Wednesday 1st February, we are investing time to listening to feedback from our children about their experience in school. We do this twice a year and in the run-up to the conference we ask the children for themes they’d like to discuss. This time we will be talking about playtimes & calm club, how to celebrate the King’s coronation, our new libraries, outdoor education, specialist teaching, diversity & inclusion and our next steps in being more sustainable/eco-friendly. There’s no such thing as a bad idea so we encourage everyone to share their thoughts. In the past, pupil voice conferences have led to us changing our reading schemes, getting the libraries made over and creating an indoor space at playtimes (Calm Club).
School Gates and Fences
When waiting for school to open at 8.45am, please do not allow children to climb or rattle the gates and fences.
Strikes
School is open to all pupils on Wednesday 1st February. Attendance expectations for pupils are the same as usual i.e. mandatory for all.
School finishes for half term on Friday 10th February and restarts on Monday 20th February.
