Miss H McNamara -Miss McNamara’s next visit – Monday 3rd July

We’re very excited to welcome Miss McNamara back to school on Monday. She’ll be about outside with me at the start and end of the day to meet parents.

Please come and say hello!



Summer Fair

Saturday 12pm-4pm

Please do come along to the Summer Fair on Saturday at the school. There promises to be lots to see, do and eat!

Anxiety Workshop

On 4th July 6pm – 7pm, we are hosting a workshop for parents about anxiety in children, led by an experienced Educational Psychologist. If you’d like to come along, please email Miss Wright via the office for more details. office@cvps.rklt.co.uk


Strike – 5th July

School will be open as usual for all children on 5th July. All children are expected to attend school as normal.


Red Kite Training Day 7th July

School is closed for all children on Friday 7th July.


Your Harrogate Drawing Competition

We’re welcoming Nick Hancock from Your Harrogate into school for Thursday’s assembly. He’s here to tell the children about a drawing competition Your Harrogate is launching so ask your children for details on Thursday evening.

It’s Arts Week in school next week. Miss Hawkins is getting ready to host our annual art show at the Family Festival Picnic day. All children will be working hard across the week to perfect their masterpieces for the art exhibition. The picnic and exhibition will be on Thursday 20th July 2pm – 3.30pm.


Family Festival 50th Birthday Picnic – Thursday 20th July 2pm – 3.30pm


To finish our Year of Giving Back/50th Birthday celebrations, we’re inviting all our families to join the children on Thursday 20th July from 2pm – 3.30pm for a big picnic on the school field (weather permitting). Please bring your own picnics, blankets and chairs. As always, please don’t bring alcohol or pets. I will be sending out a more detailed email next week about how the event will work, health and safety information and rules about collection and leaving with children.
