Headteacher's Newsletter
Posted 26th May 2023
Good morning,
It’s half term next week and David Lloyd health club are offering all families a free day pass. Here’s a message from the club.
“Have a day on us between 24th - 30th May. Are you looking to give your life a little more lift? From high energy workout classes, to drifting away in the spa, raise your spirits at David Lloyd Clubs, and make your everyday a little more extraordinary with a Complimentary day on us. With so much going on, you'll be able to enjoy a outdoor Battlebox class or a game of Tennis outdoors, helping to get your heart pumping while taking in the much needed sunshine. After your workout, grab a bite to eat on our Terrace, with our new menu ready for Summer. We have our Big Family Event on this Sunday also, 12:30-2:30pm with lots of fun activities for all the family! Limited spaces for a family pass so call today on 01423 704 050.”
Late Arrivals and Collections
This last half term we have seen an increase in children arriving late in the morning and being collected late in the afternoon. Please ensure children arrive between 8.45am and 8.55am. Lessons start at 8.55 am. Children should be collected at 3.25 pm if in Early Years/KS1 and 3.30pm in KS2. If children are regularly not being collected on time, they will be taken to our after-school club and parents will be billed for their care. Thank you in advance for your understanding and co-operation.

Interim Headteacher, Miss Hannah McNamara
Miss McNamara will be spending time in school before the end of the summer. I’ll be working with her to handover the reigns and ensure a smooth transition. We’re hoping that Miss McNamara can join us at some events so I can introduce her to the children and families.
I hope everyone has a restful and fun half term. See you all on Monday 5th June.
Kind regards,
Emma Meadus
