This week's newsletter is all about you!
We want to know how we can work with our parents and wider community to support our school, using the skills, knowledge and resources we have as a community.
PTFA
Last night, it was the Annual General Meeting for our newly founded PTFA (Parent, Teacher and Friends of the school Association). I want to express my thanks to all those who attended; for their enthusiasm in planning the year ahead and commitment to enhancing our school community.
The next meeting will be held on Tuesday 24th October at 6pm, in the cabin. This will be to plan Christmas events and fundraisers. We welcome all parents and friends of Coppice Valley to come share ideas or offer support.
Knowledge, Skills, Resource and Contacts Plea
We would like to know if you have a particular skill, resource, talent, or valuable contacts that you think could support our school with future fundraising initiatives or projects. If so, we would love to hear from you. Your contribution could be the missing piece to help us reach new heights.
Whether you're a marketing guru, a talented event planner, work in construction, are a business owner, or simply know someone who can help, your contributions can make a significant impact on our school community.
Parent Council
Are you interested in mental health and wellbeing support? Parent view is an important part of our Coppice Family. We would like to form a Parent Council group at Coppice to share and develop ideas, specifically discussing children's wellbeing and parent support. The Parent Council will meet termly in school. We have 5 places available If you are interested in joining or have any questions, please email Wrights@cvps.rklt.co.uk
Year 3&4 Residential
Later this afternoon, we welcome back our year three and four pupils from their bushcraft residential. We have shared some pictures via social media, and we look forward to telling you all about it, in next week's newsletter.
New Starters 2024
I am pleased to be offering tours of the school for parents of pupils who will start school in September 2024. Please call the office on 01423 563760 or email office@cvps.rklt.co.uk, to book.
We will not have an 'Open Day', as I will be continuing with personalised tours. Please pass on our details to anyone you know who may be looking for a school place for September 2024.
