Message from Miss McNamara
It has been a very quiet week in school with lots of children off unwell. There seems to be something going round and so we have implemented additional handwashing in school. We hope we are over the worst of it and the weekend will be a welcome break for some much needed rest. Attendance was at it's lowest so far this year - 82%. Despite this, we still managed to pack lots in with Northern ballet workshops (I saw some wonderful plies), slow cooker workshops, a family breakfast and we have been Your Harrogate's school of the week!
Parents' Meetings
Our spring term parents' evening meetings will be held on Monday 11th, Wednesday 13th and Thursday 14th March 2024, from 3:30-6:00pm. More details on how to book will be released nearer the time.
SEND & Wellbeing Drop-in
This week we had a SEND and Wellbeing drop-in and we were really pleased that a few parents came along to ask questions and have a hot drink. If you were unable to attend but have something you would like to ask or talk about, please contact the school office who will help you make an appointment with Mrs Fineran or Mrs Wright.
Road Closure
You will have seen the yellow signs informing us of road closures around the school, including Coppice Avenue, from January 22nd - 9th February at 7:30am-5:30pm.
We expect this will cause some disruption to the area and so please do leave extra time in the morning to get to school on time. If you can walk, please do, to keep congestion in the area to a minimum.
NSPCC Gaming Workshop for Parents
The NSPCC is holding a workshop about keeping children safe while gaming online as part of the NSPCC Game Safe Festival in February 2024. The workshop, for families and professionals working with children, takes place on 07 February 2024.
