Miss McNamara's Message
It’s been another busy and exciting week at Coppice Valley!
On Tuesday, we were delighted to welcome families to our Family Breakfast – what a great way to start the day together. Thank you to everyone who joined us. On Tuesday, we also welcomed the RKLT Maths Lead, who visited lessons, spoke to children, and was full of praise for the amazing maths learning already happening across Coppice Valley. A huge well done to pupils and staff for showcasing our brilliant work so confidently. This week we also held a SEND wellbeing drop-in under the canopy for parents and carer, providing a relaxed space for parents and carers to chat and share support.
Today, our school was buzzing with activity as we hosted a filming day linked to the investment funding we have received from Northern Powergrid. We look forward to sharing this footage with you.
Next week, we are launching new rewards to celebrate our pupils’ hard work and achievements. Dojo points will be used across school, and the top three earners each half term will now receive a special end-of-half-term treat. Each class will also have a weekly Star Award winner, and those children will get to sit on the special ‘Star Chair’ in assemblies through the following week.
Thank you, as always, for your continued support
🌟 Calling All Talented Parents, Carers & Local Businesses!
As we continue to develop and enrich our school, we’d love to connect with members of our community who might be able to support us.
- Do you have skills in building, gardening, landscaping, or decorating?
- Are you a musician, run a dance company, or able to deliver a workshop or assembly on a special topic?
- Looking for a place to allocate volunteer days?
If you - or your organisation - would be happy for us to get in touch, please let Mrs Tunney know in the school office know. We’ll keep your details on file for future opportunities.
Together, we can make our school even more inspiring and inclusive!
