Key information
Below is some key information regarding the routines in Willow Class.
- PE will be on Monday and Tuesday each week.
- Please ensure your child has their own named water bottle in school as it is vital for development that children at the ages of 10-11 stay hydrated.
- Drop off time in school is between 8:45-8:55 am where the children will start the day with either early bird Maths or early bird SPaG where we revisit and revise key concepts.
- Year 6 finish the school day at 3:30. If you give your child permission to walk home by themselves then please have this handed to Mrs Meadus in written form. If somebody different is picking you child up then please let us know.

Here is the teaching timetable for Willow Class for this half term:
This half term in history, we will be studying ‘Crime and Punishment Throughout the Ages’.
We will explore using different historical disciplinary concepts, how crime and punishment have changed over time in Britain. We will also explore what was seen as a crime over time and the different gruesome punishments handed out to criminals!
In science, we will be learning about the importance of the circulatory system and how it transports oxygen around our body. We will learn about the heart and how it is an important muscle in our bodies. Also, how our heart rate can increase with different activities.
Our book focus will be on When Hitler Stole Pink Rabbit by Judith Kerr.
