I currently work as the Lighting, Sound and Stage Technician at Ashville College. I have a degree in Interdisciplinary Human Studies from Bradford University. My previous roles included working for Santander as a Management Information Specialist; Operations Manager for VAC (Voluntary Action Calderdale) and Centre Manager for Central Hall in Keighley.

My main career has been in the theatre industry, as a theatre technician in the arts. I was Technical Manager at Square Chapel in Halifax; worked freelance for 10 years - touring nationally and internationally - for numerous companies including Northern Ballet, The Northern School Of Contemporary Dance and The Leeds Playhouse. I was a full-time dad for 3 really fun years before returning to work. I live in Harrogate with my wife, fab 7-year-old and newly acquired cat whose full name is Sir Charlie Cat Fluffington Blackmore.
