I went to Leeds University where I studied German and Russian. Following graduation, I worked for an international accountancy firm, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant. I worked in their Forensic Investigations department for over 10 years, often working internationally across Europe and beyond.

I then took the decision to go for a career change into teaching which has been the best decision of my life! I completed my PGCE in Primary Education at York St. John University and since then have worked teaching all primary age groups as well as leading subjects including Maths and Languages. I have a real passion for supporting children with SEND have worked as a SENCO for a number of years and have completed my NASENCO award.
