Staff Governor

I am Deputy Head and Head of Inclusion of Coppice Valley and am proud to also serve as staff governor.  I have worked in education for over 10 years having completed my PGCE in primary teaching.  During my teaching career to date I have taught across all primary year groups from reception to Year 6.  I am also a qualified SENCo and have worked as a SENCo in North Yorkshire for the past 5 years.  

Prior to working in the education sector, I worked for over 10 years as a chartered accountant for a global accountancy firm, specialising in forensic accounting (commercial disputes and fraud investigations).  I am  therefore also experienced in finance and financial governance.
