Our School
At Coppice Valley, we believe that children’s first experiences of school should be fun, inspiring, and full of wonder. We want every child to leave us as a confident learner for life, with strong academic foundations, positive character, and a real love for learning.
We set high expectations for all pupils, combining academic ambition with a commitment to building character, responsibility, and respect. Our broad and balanced curriculum covers reading, writing, maths, science, the arts, humanities, computing, music, and physical education.
Our curriculum is brought to life through Brave, Curious, and Kind – our school values and curriculum threads – which shape not only what we teach but how we teach it. Learning at Coppice Valley includes residential visits, museum trips, theatre performances, concerts, river walks, sports events, and creative workshops, ensuring pupils gain memorable experiences alongside academic knowledge.
We are proud to make the most of our large, beautiful grounds and Forest School, offering outdoor learning opportunities that develop confidence, curiosity, and a connection with nature. Whether in the classroom or outdoors, we aim to create learning that excites, challenges, and inspires every child.
